This unique sustainability campaign gives artwork and billboards a second life as repurposed, one-of-a-kind backpacks and accessories. Lamar and Rareform teamed up with graphic artist Milton Glaser, who designed the "I Heart NY" logo and developed memorable "Mad Men" ads, for the first installment of Art Lives. Glaser's artwork will be displayed on one of Lamar's billboards in Los Angeles during the month of October. After the public artwork display, Rareform will use the artwork to manufacture approximately 300 limited-edition backpacks and messenger bags. Scrap pieces will be used to make lapel pins and keychains with the intent to repurpose all of Glaser's artwork into a second life in another form.
